The Supreme Court strikes again. In a single day the Court has once again showed that it is following an embracing a truly fascist agenda. Two separate decisions were made which had terrible ramifications for the people of the United States. One decision deals with the topic of immigration the other once again deals with a case which would attempt to undo a mistake that made two years ago. However the Court’s true agenda beginning to shine through. The Court has proven to be the Bush legacy which continues to haunt our Nation till this day. In a single day the Court has officially ceased in being a legitimate branch of government and has now become a vehicle to promote a Corporatist Agenda.

Immigration the word conjures bouts of fear in the xenophobic America. The mere thought of A”aliens among us” makes the fascist mind spin into a tizzy, throw the word ”illegal” and you have a full on bout of cardiac arrest. The grand State of Arizona in an attempt to save the “white race” created a law to go beyond federal purview and deal with “aliens accordingly”. The law came before the Supreme’s and all seem to be going well as many provisions were struck down and the Court made it clear that immigration is a Federal power not one of those reserved to the states. However in the grand spirit of and Conservative over reverence of “state power” has left for a tiny little loophole for the xenophobic in Arizona to rest easy. The police under pretext of preventing other crime will be allowed to check the immigration status of individuals. Once again the precious court has now made it legal for the state of Arizona to abuse its citizens under a pretext of upholding the law. Once again the Bush legacy keeps on giving, the victims this time are anyone who may look remotely tanned and speaks Spanish, the Court has given xenophobia a free pass.

Citizens United declared Corporations to be people (I have yet to meet one in the flesh). Many legal scholars and people who are versed with logic know that the decision is nothing more than a way to promote fascism in America. Already the impact of the dirty money has been felt in local and statewide elections, the people demand that something be done. Rising to the task is the High Court in Montana. In a move to protect democracy and the integrity of elections the state of Montana took on Citizens United directly. Naturally such a challenge made its way to the ears of Alec purchasedd Justices, such as the corrupt Scalia, Thomas and Alito. The Koch fueled trio decided that Corporatism cannot be challenged by a state, and more importantly the people cannot have their democracy. In a daring move without a single argument being heard in a decision which smacks of payola the Justices did something amazing.. they voted against State rights! They struck down the Montana law and stated that the people of the United States will have to embrace Fascism. Corporations have effectively taken over the Supreme Court by packing the wallet of these conservative Justices. Suddenly a position advocating the rights of a state did not seem right, and the abomination and illegality that is Citizens United continues to live on.

Well today we the people of this Nation have learned something. The Supreme Court is no longer an independent branch of government that provides checks and balances. Instead this institution lies firmly in the pockets of Corporate America. We the people have also learned something about state rights. If a state creates a law which promotes social control of the population the Court vehemently defends the rights of the State. However if a State stands against Fascism such as Montana did in order to protect democracy and the interests of the people then suddenly “state rights” do not matter.The Supreme Court is a sham an institution that has sold out to the highest bidder the only thing that can be done is to make a stand and impeach the so called Conservative Justices for committing Treason against the United States of America and promoting Fascism in our Nation.
